Very Very Vanilla

Rob from Good Prophets sent me a small bottle of Vanilla to try. Now we all know how difficult it is to find ANY vanilla that even vaguely resembles actual vanilla…I have to tell you…he has found it. It’s from his U.S.A collection and if you like vanilla at all…I highly recommend grabbing a bottle. It smells heavenly. Rich and heavy and creamy…however….in my opinion, it is best when mixed with your favorite vape. Alone it resembles pure, real, vanilla extract, and as delicious as it smells, for me, it lacks any sweetness to it. Vaping it alone made me think of a cake with no sugar in it. It smells great, but there is something lacking in the taste. BUT, once combined with any of my favorite vapes…it is amazing! There is that wonderful vanilla that lingers on all of your senses, but the tastes are amplified. Anyone who likes to mix up their own flavors, or wants to vastly improve so-so liquids they already own, should leave this site immediately and jump over to GoodProphets.com and grab up a bottle of this juice! Once you do, come back and post whatever combinations you try out and let us all know how you like it!

Calling all neewbies! If you are a neewbies who wants a cigarette flavor that TASTES like a cigarette…then here it is…Virginia Cured from Good Prophets. Rob sent me a small bottle of this to try in the hopes that it would be a good substitute when I have already vaped all of his RY3 (see previous post). First impression was utter shock when I started flashing back to my Camel days. It is very smooth and has a huge tobacco taste to it. While it doesn’t have a bitter after taste…it has a definite nuttiness to it. I swear, it’s almost an almond flavor! If I had had this in the very beginning of my vaping experience, it would have made transitioning to vaping an absolute breeze. This is NOT a subtle hint of tobacco…this really tasted like an analog to me! If you are looking for a true cigarette flavor, I would highly recommend you give this a try! ****Note to Rob: nice try! But I still want my RY3!!!

If you like to kick back with some classic slow Jazz and a snifter or two, in my opinion, Cignots English Toffee fits the bill! A heavy feeling vape that begs for that long slow pull on you PV, followed by a sip of brandy while kicked back in your favorite comfy chair, listening to some serious horns! Might even need to pull out that old Velvet Smoking Jacket!

I bought some English Toffee from Cignot.com without any real expectations except that it might satisfy my sweet tooth. Even now typing this, I’m looking at the bottle and wondering exactly what to say about it. Do I like it? YES Does it give good vapor? YES Is it sweet like I had hoped? Yes. Well, Kind of..I think so…. My problem here is that while I DO like it, I’m just not sure WHY I like it. I’m trying to decide whether or not I would KNOW it was English Toffee without having known it from the bottle. It wasn’t one of those flavors that made me sit up and go ,” WOW..thats great!” or even,” WOW..that’s awful!” In fact, it didn’t change my posture in the least. I took my first drag, then sat back and went, ” Hmmmmm, thats kind of nice” and thats where it’s remained…in the ‘nice’ category. I dont see my self vaping this all day long. However, I am finding it to be a nice after dinner, in front of the TV relaxing kind of vape. I DO recommend you try it out though. It has a nice heavy feeling to it, a touch of nut, and a nice smooth finish that doesn’t leave a foul sugary substitute after-taste. All in all I will be ordering more of it to have on hand from those nice ladies over at Cignot!

I was in the irc channel the other night when Raenon from BlueMistVaping.com announced to everyone that their free sample promotion was almost over. As a new site they were giving away free 3ml samples of a few different flavors. Being a sucker for free I signed up and ordered the sample if the Vanilla Mint which also had free shipping. It arrived 2 days later and I setup a new cart with the brass screen mod that MontanaBrat mentioned in her last post. Not being a fan of sweet flavors that much I was surprised that I liked this flavor. I have now tried it in my 510 (normal and tornado batteries), my mod (510 atty with a large 3.7v battery) and a 510 passthrough. The flavor is great with just enough vanilla to soften the mint. I have been vaping DIY peppermint for a while and although the mint is still very noticeable it does not overpower the vanilla. The vapor production is very nice. I cannot fully attest to the throat hit because while they sent me flavoring I added enough nic to make this 24mg which adds its own throat hit. Needless to say it was a nice flavor that I am growing attached to.

yes, yes, I know. This is a liquid REVIEW site. But this cart mod is just too good to not share! Using screens SOUND silly (all those holes!) but this WORKS! Not only does it WORK…it’s CHEAP TOO! Dark from VF gave me this link last night and I immediately went out today to buy the screens. I am SO glad that I did. You will have to kind of wedge the ‘cone’ into the cart, so prefill it to about 2mm shy of the top before you wedge the cone in there. But OMG what a difference. The flavor is much cleaner than anything I’ve used before (YES, I’m still vaping the RY3)! Give it a try and leave a comment as to your opinions. Today is my one year anniversary smoke free! my last cigarette was on April 22, 2009. For the past year I have been COMPLETELY analog free and I just had to share this momentous occasion with all of you. If you ever have any doubts that you too can quit, just remember, we were all there once! Even if you fall off the proverbial wagon, dont worry, pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and go back at it! Trust me, if after 28 years I can quit, then YOU CAN TOO!!!

I know, i know..it’s been FOREVER since I have posted ANYTHING, let alone a review. While my reasons for being away so long are good ones, I am back to apologize for it…and for this. I am about to introduce you to your newest addiction. RY3. Thats right, not 4…3! Rob at Good Prophets is having a hard time keeping up with me. It comes in, I buy as much as I can. Like most neewbies, at first I was looking for a tobacco tasting vape. I hated them all, even the various RYs from a slew of different vendors. They all had this funky, smoky taste to them that just made my face prune! So, on a recommendation from my buddy Joanna on VF, I hesitantly tried GP RY3. All I can say is..Yuuuuuuummmmmm. The Caramel, vanilla taste is WONDERFUL and it actually FEELS thick when you vape it! Creamy and heavy making you actually roll your tongue around your mouth!!!! I vape it all day, every day! No after-taste, a light TH on a regular draw. If you need a higher TH, order the higher mg (Im vaping 18 now) The higher mg definitely gives more TH unless you cut it. OH! If you have some Loranns, cut this baby with some cheesecake and have perma-smile all day long! So there you have it. My newest review, and your newest addiction. I hope you enjoy them both!

Just a little

For my first day back I decided to go with a more straightforward flavor, or so I thought.

Today I vaped TABOO, 18mg, PG from Liquidxpress. I was expecting it to be like many of the other RY4s Ive tried, but sadly, it wasn’t. The first few puffs gave that tobacco flavor I was expecting….kind of. It tasted almost watered down. The initial flavor didnt last long enough and I kept waiting for a sweet finish that just never arrived.

Unfortunately as the day wore on, I found that if I was eating or drinking, the flavor seemed to get more and more lost. And as the tobacco flavor waned, I found I wanted the sweet finish, that wasn’t there, that much more.

It produced a pleasant amount of vapor, and people kept saying they smelled cotton candy.

I’m sorry to say that I would not choose to vape this again, it was too weak on flavor, and even though it had a sweet smell to it, I still ended up grabbing a candy bar to satisfy the itch I had been having all day. I would like to see the flavor strengthened, and a nice rich vanilla finish added to it, that just might save the future of this currently flat flavor.
