Today I vaped TABOO, 18mg, PG from Liquidxpress.  I was expecting it to be like many of the other RY4s Ive tried, but sadly, it wasn’t.  The first few puffs gave that tobacco flavor I was expecting….kind of.  It tasted almost watered down.  The initial flavor didnt last long enough and I kept waiting for a sweet finish that just never arrived.

Unfortunately as the day wore on, I found that if I was eating or drinking, the flavor seemed to get more and more lost.  And as the tobacco flavor waned, I found I wanted the sweet finish, that wasn’t there, that much more.

It produced a pleasant amount of vapor, and people kept saying they smelled cotton candy.

I’m sorry to say that I would not choose to vape this again, it was too weak on flavor, and even though it had a sweet smell to it, I still ended up grabbing a candy bar to satisfy the itch I had been having all day.  I would like to see the flavor strengthened, and a nice rich vanilla finish added to it, that just might save the future of this currently flat flavor.

When taking a short puff of Spicy Ice, you will get a serious shot of mint, but you’ll also taste the “spice’ they are referring to.  At first I was a bit confused, I wasn’t quite sure exactly what the ‘spice’  WAS.   The best way to describe it would be to compare it to a high end white pepper.  Or to that certain type of Chai tea that leaves that little bite in the back of your throat.  Not unpleasant at all, but took some getting used to.

Longer pulls on your PV will give you an ‘OMG I’M VAPING AN ALTOID’ feeling.  As a person who likes mint, this was just fine with me.  NOTE: Notice I said MINT and NOT Menthol.  This reminds me of the Spearmint Schnaaps I put in my Hot Chocolate during the winter time.  In fact I would love to try this mixed with a chocolate!  (possible future review ????)

While the taste is big, unfortunately, the vapor production is not.  While I’ve been avoiding giving out numerical ratings, I’m sorry to say this, but out of 5,  I would have to give this a 2.5 for Vapor production.

In the end, if you like big taste, and don’t care about the size of your cloud, then I would suggest giving Spicy Ice a try.

I was pleasantly surprised to find it to be a very heavy and complicated flavor.  Yes, I said, “complicated’.  My tentative 1st puff of this juice was very enlightening.  At first all you taste is the Caramel because that is what you are EXPECTING to taste, then all of a sudden, BAM…APPLE!!!  Actual Granny Smith type apple.  It sneaks out of no where and makes you take notice.  Not in an overtaking kind of way, but in a ,”hey ! Dont forget Im here” manner.  I found that the shorter the pull on your PV, the more pronounced the Caramel flavor is.  If you take a long, slow drag, you will get more of the apple.

As the day progressed, I found that if I vaped more heavily, more actual ‘puffs’ in a shorter amount of time, you almost get an ‘apple smoked’ kind of vapor out of it.  Like the apple wood used in Bar-b-Qs’.  Speaking of vape.  I was using my 510 (with a manual battery) with this juice all day long.  While it does produce a decent amount of Vape, there wasnt any huge cloud like effects.

The throat hit is decent, its there but you dont choke on it, no pins and needles feeling in the back of the throat.  All-in-all I wasnt opposed to vaping it all day long.  I didnt get tired of it and do the ,” I wish I brought another flavor with me eye roll” .  I think if you like caramel apples, Carnival Apple from LiquidXpress just might be for you!
